Over the past few weeks, we’ve continued improving the StreamDock ecosystem across software, developer tools, and future product direction.

For us, every update is not just about fixing bugs or adding features — it’s about continuously exploring one core question:

What should the next generation of workflow devices look like?

Today, we’d like to share some recent progress and thoughts about where we’re heading.

Software Experience Comes First

Many users first discover StreamDock for its ability to execute complex workflows quickly.

But as more people use it for content creation, productivity, streaming, gaming, and automation, we’ve realized something important:

The real foundation of a great product is not features — it’s stability and smoothness.

That’s why Version 202 continues focusing on this direction.

This update includes:

• Added tutorial guides for software features (available only in non-Chinese language versions).
• Added a quick backup function for scene content.
• Added a feature allowing scenes to follow search queries.
• Enabled firmware upgrade notifications for the K1 Pro.
• Optimized the interaction experience for action triggers.
• Improved software stability.

Many of these improvements may not be immediately visible, but they continuously improve daily usage experience.

We strongly believe:

Stability matters more than feature count.

The Community is Shaping the Product Direction

Recently, we’ve seen more developers building plugins for the StreamDock ecosystem.

At the same time, more creators are sharing how they actually use the device in real workflows.

Some use it for live streaming control.

Some for OBS management.

Some build racing simulation dashboards.

Some integrate it into flight simulation systems.

Others turn it into a full desktop automation center.

These real-world use cases matter more than any predefined product definition.

That’s why we are actively exploring ways to better support developers, including:

• Developer support structure
• Potential incentive programs

We hope to build a truly open ecosystem for creators and developers.

What Will the Next StreamDock Look Like?

Beyond current products, we are also exploring new hardware directions.

One upcoming concept is focused on designer workflows.

A small teaser:

Based on feedback about haptic experience on N4 Pro, the new device will adopt a linear motor system, delivering smoother and more refined tactile feedback.

At the same time, we are asking ourselves a bigger question:

Does the next generation workflow device still need to rely on physical buttons as its core interaction?

We are exploring ideas such as:

• Larger display areas
• More flexible UI layouts
• More intuitive interaction models
• A hybrid of control + information display

It may evolve into something more than a controller:

A desktop workflow & information hub.
