How to Adjust Device Brightness and Light Brightness
Some users may want to adjust the screen brightness of their device or the RGB light brightness for a better daily experience. This guide explains the available adjustment methods, supported models, and a few important notes to help you configure everything correctly.
Applicability
Device Brightness
Device brightness adjustment is supported on all device models.
Light Brightness
RGB light brightness adjustment is available only on RGB versions of the device.
How to Adjust Device Brightness
There are currently two ways to adjust device brightness.
Method 1: Use the Brightness Function
You can assign the Brightness function to a key or knob inside the software:
- In the right-side toolbar, open the Stream Dock category
- Find the Brightness function
- Drag it to a key or knob to assign it

Assign to a Key
After assigning the function to a key, choose one of the following options in the property panel:
- Increase Brightness
- Decrease Brightness
Pressing the key will perform the selected brightness adjustment.

Assign to a Knob
If assigned to a knob:
- Rotate clockwise to increase brightness
- Rotate counterclockwise to decrease brightness
- Pressing the knob will have no effect

Method 2: Adjust in Software Settings
You can also change brightness directly in the settings panel:
- Go to Settings
- Select Device
- Find Brightness
- Drag the slider to adjust the brightness level

Important Note
To prevent users from mistaking extremely low brightness for device malfunction, the software enforces a minimum brightness level. This means the brightness cannot be adjusted all the way down to 0.
How to Adjust Light Brightness
For RGB versions, light brightness can currently only be adjusted through the settings panel:
- Go to Settings
- Select Device
- Find Light Brightness
- Drag the slider to adjust the brightness

Lighting Behavior During Sleep
If you want to control what happens to the device lighting when the device enters sleep mode:
- Go to Settings > Device
- Find Lighting Control
- Choose one of the available modes:
Follow the Software
The lights will turn off automatically when the device goes to sleep.
Light
The lights will remain on even when the device is in sleep mode.

Why Is the Lighting Control Option Missing?
If your device supports RGB lighting but you cannot see the Lighting Control option, your firmware version may be outdated.
Please update the device to the latest firmware version to enable RGB adjustment features. If you need help with the firmware update, please contact the official technical support channel.
Conclusion
Adjusting device brightness and RGB light brightness is simple once you know where to look. All models support screen brightness adjustment, while RGB lighting controls are available only on RGB versions. If certain lighting options are missing, checking for a firmware update is recommended first.
