How to Connect Your Keyboard to a Computer

MiraBox Keyboard K1 Pro uses a wired USB connection. To get started, connect the keyboard to your computer with a USB data cable.

Step 1: Connect the USB Cable

Locate the K1 Pro keyboard's USB-C port and plug in the USB-C cable.

Connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.

Step 2: Connect the Keyboard to the Computer

Plug the other end of the cable into a USB port on your computer.

Once connected, the computer will automatically recognize Keyboard K1 Pro. In most cases, no additional keyboard driver is required.

Step 3: Confirm the Keyboard Works Properly

Open Notepad, a browser, or another text-entry app and press a few keys to test the keyboard.

If you can type normally, K1 Pro is successfully connected to the computer.

Step 4: Open Stream Dock or Web UI

To customize Keyboard K1 Pro shortcuts, the screen, knobs, or other features, install and open Stream Dock.

For keyboard shortcut customization only, use the Web UI.

Stream Dock will automatically detect the connected K1 Pro.

If Your Computer Can't Detect K1 Pro

If the keyboard doesn't respond after connecting, try these steps:

1. Reconnect the USB cable.

2. Try another USB port.

3. Connect directly to the computer, not through a USB hub.

4. Use a USB-C cable that supports data transfer.

5. Close and reopen Stream Dock.

6. Restart the computer and reconnect  Keyboard K1 Pro.

Tip: Some USB-C cables support charging only. If  Keyboard K1 Pro powers on but Stream Dock can't detect it, check the USB cable first.
