Manual Screen Off

What Is Manual Screen Off?

Manual Screen Off allows users to actively turn off the device screen using a StreamDock action.

How to Use It

Inside the action list:

Stream Dock

includes a:

Screen Off

function.

After assigning it to a key:

  • Press the key
  • The device will immediately enter screen off mode

Useful for:

  • Temporary idle states
  • Desk organization
  • Energy saving
  • Creator workstations

Auto Screen Off

What Is Auto Screen Off?

Some users want the device to automatically turn off the screen when:

  • The computer shuts down
  • The computer enters sleep mode
  • The device remains inactive for a period of time

This can be configured inside the software settings.

How to Configure Auto Screen Off

Go to:

  • Settings → Device

Then locate:

  • Automatic Screen Off

Available Options

Never

When set to:

  • Never

the device will not automatically turn off the screen.

Even if:

  • The computer enters sleep mode
  • The computer is turned off

the StreamDock display will remain active.

Timer Mode

When selecting a time option:

If the device remains inactive for the selected duration:

  • The display will automatically enter screen off mode
