Manual Screen Off
What Is Manual Screen Off?
Manual Screen Off allows users to actively turn off the device screen using a StreamDock action.
How to Use It
Inside the action list:
Stream Dock
includes a:
Screen Off
function.
After assigning it to a key:
- Press the key
- The device will immediately enter screen off mode
Useful for:
- Temporary idle states
- Desk organization
- Energy saving
- Creator workstations
Auto Screen Off
What Is Auto Screen Off?
Some users want the device to automatically turn off the screen when:
- The computer shuts down
- The computer enters sleep mode
- The device remains inactive for a period of time
This can be configured inside the software settings.
How to Configure Auto Screen Off
Go to:
Settings → Device
Then locate:

Automatic Screen Off

Available Options
Never
When set to:
Never
the device will not automatically turn off the screen.
Even if:
- The computer enters sleep mode
- The computer is turned off
the StreamDock display will remain active.
Timer Mode
When selecting a time option:
If the device remains inactive for the selected duration:
- The display will automatically enter screen off mode
