How to Replace the Boot Logo on StreamDock

How to Replace the Boot Logo on StreamDock

The boot logo is the image shown on your StreamDock device when it starts up. You can replace it with a custom image to make your device feel more personal or match your workspace style.

Different StreamDock models may require different boot logo image resolutions. Please check the resolution shown in the software before uploading your image.

How to Replace the Boot Logo

  1. Open the StreamDock software.
  2. Click the Setting icon.
  3. Go to the Device tab.
  4. Find Replace the boot logo.
  5. Check the required resolution shown on the button.
  6. Click Replace the boot logo.
  7. Select the image you want to upload.
  8. Wait for the upload process to finish.

After the upload is complete, restart or reconnect the device to check the new boot logo.

Check the Required Image Resolution

Each StreamDock model has its own required boot logo resolution.

You can find the required size directly in the software. For example, the button may show:

Replace the boot logo (Resolution 800*480)

This means the image must match 800 × 480.

If the image resolution is incorrect, the upload may fail, or the progress bar may get stuck.

Important Notes

Before replacing the boot logo, please note the following:

  • Each device model has a specific boot logo resolution requirement.
  • The required resolution is shown in the StreamDock software interface.
  • Images with the wrong resolution may fail to upload.
  • If the upload progress bar gets stuck, check whether the image resolution is correct.
  • Resetting the device will not restore the default boot logo.
  • After replacing the boot logo, the modified image will remain even after a device reset.

What If Upload Fails?

If the boot logo cannot be uploaded successfully, try the following:

  • Confirm that the device is connected and recognized.
  • Check the required resolution in the software.
  • Resize the image to the exact required resolution.
  • Use a standard image format supported by the software.
  • Restart the StreamDock software and try again.
  • Reconnect the device if needed.

Final Thoughts

Replacing the boot logo is a simple way to customize your StreamDock device. Just make sure the image resolution matches the requirement shown in the software.

Remember that resetting the device does not restore the default boot logo. If you want to change it again, upload another image with the correct resolution.
