How to Enable or Disable Vibration On StreamDock?

The vibration function provides tactile feedback when you interact with your MiraBox N4 Pro.

You can enable or disable this function from the device settings in the StreamDock software.

Firmware Requirement

Before using the vibration function, make sure your N4 Pro firmware version is 02.006 or later.

To check the firmware version:

  1. Open the StreamDock software.
  2. Click the Setting icon.
  3. Open the Device tab.
  4. Check the version shown next to Firmware version.

If your firmware version is earlier than 02.006, click Update the firmware to check for and install an available update.

If the software cannot complete the update, please contact MiraBox technical support for assistance.

How to Enable & Disable Vibration

  1. Connect your N4 Pro and open the StreamDock software.
  2. Click the Setting icon.
  3. Go to the Device tab.
  4. Find Activate vibration.
  5. Select the checkbox to enable vibration.
  6. Clear the checkbox to disable vibration.

Once enabled, the device will provide vibration feedback during supported interactions. The N4 Pro will stop providing vibration feedback after this option is disabled.

Can I Adjust the Vibration Strength?

The N4 Pro currently uses a nonlinear vibration motor. Because this motor does not provide an effective range of strength adjustment, the software does not include a vibration intensity setting for this model.

Future MiraBox device models equipped with linear motors are planned to support adjustable vibration strength.

What If the Option Is Missing?

If you cannot find Activate vibration, check the following:

  • Confirm that the connected device is an N4 Pro.
  • Make sure the firmware version is 02.006 or later.
  • Use Update the firmware to check for updates.
  • Restart the StreamDock software after updating.
  • Contact technical support if the option is still unavailable.

Final Thoughts

You can quickly turn N4 Pro vibration feedback on or off through Setting > Device > Activate vibration.

Remember that firmware version 02.006 or later is required. Vibration strength adjustment is not available on the N4 Pro due to its motor design.
